NDAA Signed Into Law By Obama Despite Guantanamo Veto Threat, Indefinite Detention Provisions: via HuffPost http://huff.to/TKyD9O The budget excuse is irrelevent. Veto the whole bill until the financials come back not attached to anything. One law that is desparately needed: that no bill of substantive law can be attached to a budgetary law. It would be better for the forces to run out of money or even be disbanded than to maintain armed forces that can take anyone, including citizens, hostage any time they feel like it for any reason at all, for as long as they like, without being required to offer any explanation or hold a trial. All they do is make some vague claim of support for terrorism and they can headbag anybody without restraint or oversight. Better to disband the armed forces and rely on the second amendment for defence than to allow the present situation to continue.
