The ‘Human’ Quality We Share With Baboons

The ‘Human’ Quality We Share With Baboons – http://huff.to/1qrXvS1

Actually I would have thought this was more of a settled point, that animals train each other.  Say for instance animals training their young how to hunt.

I think this shows more that the ability also can apply to novel situations with no prior natural selection reinforcement, and can be purely procedural rather than involving say the situational logic of hunting and foraging.

That is, whatever the reward, there is no particular logical connection to pushing buttons and getting the reward, beyond figuring out what the scientists want, which is different than an animal training hunting skills, which involves constraints that can be seen or felt, endurance, stealth, surprise, anticipating prey reactions, target selection, momentum, vectors, etc.
