The whole black/white thing is framed like opposites, going with brown/peach would help tone down the rhetoric as well as being more accurate.

Never seen anybody that was literally white, it would look like some kind of cave dwelling alien.

As for the “I’m really black” comment, even the bigots that can read don’t go through birth records to see who has a black great grandparent or other distant connection, they just react to what they see.  Anybody that hasn’t been treated differently as black hasn’t earned the right to talk about that experience.
