Mantis versus roach, an interesting spectacle.  I have to side with the mantis on this one.  Can’t believe I agree with Cruz on something. 
The US has a long dirty history of enslaving other nations to debt via e.g. the IMF, World Bank and this inport-export bank.  They get crap they don’t need and can’t pay for, the money they spend never actually leaves the US.  In other words it sounds like it’s more of the same.

I also wonder if it amounts to a subsidy under trade agreements, and if not, why not.  If the government bankrolling the purchase of American goods doesn’t violate the letter of anti-subsidy rules it definitely violates the spirit.
